Q2 2024 iOS Shooter Game Insights in the US: A Sensor Tower Report

Sensor Tower's latest data provides an overview of the top 5 shooter games on the iOS platform in the US for Q2 2024. Here's how these popular titles fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

GARENA INTERNATIONAL I PRIVATE LIMITED's Free Fire: 7th Anniversary saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $23K in late May. Downloads remained relatively steady, ranging between 3.6K and 4.2K, while weekly active users (WAU) showed a gradual decline from 109K to 91K over the quarter.

Activision Publishing, Inc.'s Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced a revenue high of over $11K in mid-May but generally hovered between $5K and $9K. Downloads were consistent, with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, and WAUs increased from 19K to 19K, indicating a stable player base.

Tencent Mobile International Limited's PUBG MOBILE had modest revenue numbers, ranging from $844 to $2.2K weekly. Downloads saw a spike in late May with 355 new users, while WAUs saw a small decrease from 4.1K to 3.5K by the end of Q2.

MY.GAMES B.V.'s War Robots Multiplayer Battles showed lower revenue figures, with a notable peak of $1.3K in the last week of June. Downloads were minimal, and WAUs saw a slight decrease from 642 to 309 throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile, also by Activision Publishing, Inc., which was released in March 2024, had a steady start with revenues around $2K in the first week of April, dipping to just under $300 by the end of June. Downloads sharply decreased after launch, stabilizing around 443 by the quarter's end. WAUs showed a slight decline from 10.2K to 6.4K.
